The Radiation Effects Research Foundation - a joint Japan/USA foundation that "conducts research and studies--for peaceful purposes--on the effects of radiation exposure on humans with a view toward contributing to the maintenance of the health and welfare of atomic-bomb survivors and to the enhancement of the health of all people."

UNSCEAR - United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation.

International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) - many good links to resources and information regarding radiation and radioactivity.

International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) - "an independent Registered Charity, established to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection, in particular by providing recommendations and guidance on all aspects of protection against ionising radiation." This is the organization whose recommendations are the basis of many countries' radiation protection regulations.

Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
- the government agency responsible for the regulation of nuclear substances in Canada.

Radiation Protection Bureau - a Health Canada department that is "concerned with radiation risks to humans, for example from medical and industrial x-ray equipment, lasers, ultraviolet radiation from the sun, microwave ovens, airport noise and power lines and radon in homes."

Radiation Protection Act (Alberta) - the radiation protection regulations for the province of Alberta.

Radiation Protection Branch (BC) - the radiation protection site for the province of British Columbia.

Radiation Health & Safety Act (SK) - the Act and Regulations surrounding the use of ionizing radiation in Saskatchewan.

National Dose Registry - an agency of the Radiation Protection Bureau, whose purpose is the tracking and recording of radiation dose in Canada.

Federal-Provincial-Territorial Radiation Protection Committee - a group formed to "advance the development and harmonization of practices and standards for radiation protection within Federal, Provincial and Territorial jurisdictions."

Transport Canada (TDG) - the site for transportation of dangerous goods in Canada.
