CNSC Contamination Monitoring Instrument Outreach Webinar

Thank you to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission – Commission canadienne de sûreté nucléaire on presenting their “Contamination Monitoring Instrument Outreach” webinar yesterday morning. The entire calibration team at Stuart Hunt & Associates attended and it generated over an hour’s worth of internal questions and answers around how we can better support our customers in meeting these CNSC expectations and CNSC RegDoc 2.7.1
With this in mind, we are looking at increasing our available “surrogate” source standards to offer ‘extrapolated detector efficiencies’ that CNSC’ presentation highlighted for relevant applications: enhanced and articulated Calibration Certificates that reference the defensibility of selected surrogate isotopes.
Providing you NIST traceable radioactive source standard and consultation on meeting CNSC RegDoc 2.7.1 requirements should you choose to bring some of the isotopic calibration “in house”.
