PL-10PDC Magnetizing Coil

The Parker Research PL-10PDC Portable Magnetizing Coil is designed for use in magnetic particle inspection (MPI) of ferrous metal components. It is used to generate a magnetic field for inspection using dry powder or wet fluorescent media.

The coil features a 9 7/8-inch inside diameter and is constructed from durable molded black polyurethane for use in industrial and field non-destructive testing (NDT) environments.

This model operates from a standard 115VAC input and produces a half-wave rectified DC magnetic field, providing a different magnetization option compared to AC coil versions. It includes a foot switch (or optional hand switch), a 10-foot power cord, and a sealed electrical connection box with a flat base for vertical positioning.

A plastic carrying case is included for transport and storage.
