Two trusted companies are coming together with one shared commitment to radiation safety.

Stuart Hunt & Associates Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of ALARA Consultants Inc., effective October 1, 2026.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, ALARA has provided radiation safety services, equipment, training, and regulatory support to organizations across Canada since 1996. Over the past three decades, the company has built a strong reputation for its expertise in Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), radiation detection, nuclear medicine, and practical radiation safety solutions.

ALARA’s experience, values and commitment to customer support make the company a natural fit with Stuart Hunt & Associates.

Bringing Our Experience Together

For decades, Stuart Hunt & Associates and ALARA Consultants have helped organizations understand their radiation safety responsibilities, manage radioactive materials, and access the equipment and services they need.

Although our companies have followed their own paths, we share many of the same priorities: knowledgeable support, attention to detail, practical solutions, and long-term customer relationships.
