The Parker Research DA-1500-DR Portable Magnetic Particle Inspection Unit is a heavy-duty 1500 Amp magnetic particle inspection (MPI) system designed for advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. It delivers high-output AC and half-wave DC (HWDC) magnetic fields, providing reliable performance for both surface and near-surface defect detection.

This upgraded model features a new digital LCD display, offering improved readability in all lighting conditions and enhanced measurement accuracy. A redesigned internal circuit improves overall system performance and durability, backed by Parker’s one-year warranty.

Field selection is controlled using the appropriate field cable connector, while infinitely variable current output allows precise adjustment from zero to maximum via the front panel control. Current output is displayed digitally for improved accuracy and ease of use, with performance dependent on cable size and length.

The AC magnetic field mode provides excellent sensitivity for detecting surface discontinuities and also supports effective demagnetization after inspection, ensuring safer handling of inspected components.
