This 100 cm² gas flow proportional detector provides excellent alpha and beta efficiency. It is most commonly used at frisking stations where it can be fed a continuous supply of P-10 counting gas. The counting gas enters through the inlet port located at the bottom of the detector and exits through a pin-sized hole located at the top of the detector body.

Another feature of this light-weight design is the easy access to the metalized polyester window whenever it requires replacement. This is accomplished by simply sliding the front face cover off the detector body.
