Parker B-200 Contour Probe

The Parker Research B-200 Contour Probe is a handheld AC magnetic yoke used for magnetic particle inspection (MPI) on ferrous materials. It is designed to generate an alternating current magnetic field for surface defect detection in industrial inspection applications.

The B-200 produces a powerful AC magnetic field and features fully adjustable legs that allow the field to be applied directly to the inspection area, regardless of part size or geometry. It includes a slim ergonomic handle, oversized operating switch, and a molded housing designed to support repeated use. The unit is constructed to allow repair or replacement of internal components and supports continuous inspection workflows.

This contour probe is used in magnetic particle inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) environments such as shipyards, aerospace facilities, steel mills, foundries, weldment inspection, and vehicle maintenance operations where portable AC yokes are required.
