Parker B-310 Contour Probe
The Parker Research B-310 Contour Probe is a compact, lightweight AC magnetic inspection yoke used for magnetic particle inspection (MPI). It is designed for applications where reduced size and improved access to confined inspection areas are required.
The B-310 produces an AC magnetic field for surface defect detection and features fully adjustable legs that allow precise placement on parts of varying shapes and sizes. A reversible strain-relief design allows the power cord to enter from either the top or rear of the unit, supporting flexible positioning during inspections. The probe is housed in a polyurethane-filled glass/nylon enclosure intended for industrial environments.
This contour probe is used in magnetic particle inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) settings, including laboratory, manufacturing, and field inspection environments where portability and compact design are important.
