The Parker Research NA-16 Notch Defect Test Bar is a defect verification accessory used in magnetic particle inspection (MPI). It is designed to support the evaluation of the smallest rejectable surface defects during inspection procedures.
The NA-16 test bar is used to demonstrate and verify the detection capability of MPI systems under controlled conditions. It is manufactured to comply with MIL-STD-271E and F (Ships), paragraph 4.3.1.2, as well as NAVSEA-TB-T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 requirements, supporting standardized inspection verification practices.
