Parker UW-115 Underwater Probe
The Parker Research UW-115 Underwater Contour Probe is a specialized AC magnetic yoke used for magnetic particle inspection (MPI) in submerged environments. It is designed for surface-breaking defect detection on ferrous materials during underwater inspection operations.
The UW-115 generates an alternating current magnetic field suitable for MPI applications and features sealed leg sections designed to prevent water ingress between laminated components. It includes a molded 3-foot power cord pigtail for connection to user-supplied underwater connectors or splicing systems, supporting integration into submerged inspection setups.
This underwater contour probe is used in magnetic particle inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) environments where inspections are performed below the waterline, including marine structures, offshore assets, and underwater maintenance applications.
