Model 2241-3MERK

This response kit is an ideal tool for any nuclear medicine department or emergency department. It offers a detector complement optimized for medical isotopes and includes personal radiation monitoring. The kit fits securely in a foam-padded, padlockable, rugged storage and transport case, and will easily meet the radiation requirements of the emergency response plan.

The Model 2241-3MERK Medical Environment Response Kit includes:

  • Model 2241-3 Survey Meter, digital survey ratemeter with built-in scaler
  • Model 44-9, 15 cm2 Alpha-Beta-Gamma GM Pancake Detector
  • Model 44-2, Gamma Scintillator Detector, 2.5 x 2.5 cm (1 x 1 in.) NaI 
  • Model 44-142, 100 cm2 Beta Scintillator Detector
  • Model 25 Series Personal Radiation Monitor, allows medical personnel to monitor their safety during activities associated with a radiation incident
  • 1 µCi (137Cs) check source
  • Check source holder
  • 1 m (39 in.) long detector cable
  • Carrying case for easy transportation of the kit to the affected site
