Echo 8 HT™ Fluid for AUT and Robotics
Echo 8 HT™ is a line of high-temperature, slow-drying ultrasonic coupling fluids engineered for safe, reliable performance in AUT and MUT flaw detection and thickness gauging applications. With an operating range from -50°F to 800°F (-45°C to 425°C), Echo 8 HT™ delivers consistent coupling across a wide range of high-temperature inspection environments.
Echo 8 HT™ is available in three viscosity grades to match system requirements and inspection conditions. Grade 1 offers low viscosity for long or small-diameter lines and fast spreading. Grade 4, the standard viscosity, provides an optimal balance between pumpability and run-off at the transducer. Grade 10 is a very high-viscosity fluid designed for MUT applications, spreading easily over large hot surfaces while staying in place and leaving minimal residue.
All grades of Echo 8 HT™ provide excellent corrosion inhibition on ferrous metals, leave minimal residue, and are compatible with all metals and most plastics, making them ideal for automated, robotic, and manual ultrasonic inspections in demanding high-temperature environments.
