PaveScan® Mix Design Module (MDM)
PaveScan Mix Design Module (MDM), is an innovative system used to create a correlation between the dielectric value of the mix and the asphalt density at different percent air voids. This correlation can then be entered into the PaveScan, Non-nuclear Rolling Density Measurement System (RDM), and used as a powerful QC/QA tool for accurate density measurements of the entire asphalt pavement. Quality process control using PaveScan MDM and RDM means all pavements and longitudinal joints can be compacted to specification in real-time.

PaveScan™- Density Meter
The InstroTek PaveScan Powered by GSSI Technology is the first non-nuclear rolling density system that provides real-time compaction and density data for the entire paving project. Proper compaction is the most important factor in producing long-lasting pavements. The PaveScan uses multiple sensors to continuously scan the entire pavement and provide a density profile of the entire paving project. The operator pushes the cart along the lane and gathers density data behind the asphalt rollers. The onboard computer displays density, compaction, a line graph, and a contour map of the measurements. This information is used by contractors and pavement engineers to assess the quality of the pavement.

The Ignition Panel™ is a front panel upgrade for the NCAT Asphalt Content furnace. The NCAT Furnace is widely used in the asphalt industry for accurate determination of asphalt content and quality control of pavements. HWT-Pro™
The InstroTek HWT-Pro is a comprehensive verification and diagnostic device for the Hamburg Wheel Tracker. The HWT-Pro can measure and report your machine's deviation from AASHTO T-324 calibration requirements. eDry™ - Asphalt Emulsion Drying Kit
The NEW eDry Upgrade Kit for the InstroTek CoreDry™ is the quickest and most effective method for drying asphalt emulsions. In less than 30 minutes, the CoreDry eDry Emulsion Kit can be used to dry up to 5 grams of asphalt emulsions. CoreDry’s patented vacuum technology allows pavement engineers to quickly determine the appropriate binder content and application rates while retaining the rheological properties of the binder.
Asphalt Roller Compactor
The Asphalt Roller Compactor (ARC), now available through InstroTek, Inc., is the first unit developed based entirely on an electro-mechanical system. The compactor does not require hydraulic fluids or air pressure, which allows the users to produce repeatable and consistent samples. The asphalt slab produced with this compactor is much more representative; with aggregate orientation similar to samples compacted in the field.
Asphalt Compatibility Tester
The Asphalt Compatibility Tester (ACT) is a fast, straightforward method to evaluate the adhesion properties of asphalt binder and aggregates in the mixture. This test uses LED light and detection system to measure the color change that may occur as a result of ASTM D 3625 (Boil Test Method).
